easter egg hunt

Of course the Easter season is a very special time for us at Horizon. During the Easter season, we enjoy giving back to our community with our annual Easter egg hunt. Typically held the Sunday before Easter, this hunt gives us a great chance to interact with our neighbors. The egg hunt is open to children of all ages, and there are always lots of good baked goods and coffee for everybody to enjoy!

The planning team outdid themselves in 2013, as they wanted to do something really special to introduce ourselves to our new neighborhood. A carnival atmosphere was created, with hot dogs, cotton candy, lots of baked goods, crafts, a magician, and of course, thousands of candy filled eggs! We need to say a big THANK YOU to the Allentown Fire Company, as they sent a ladder truck to our church building, and dropped eggs from high above! Pictures from this amazing event are available in our online photo album.
